Little Brother: Series

LITTLE BROTHER is a series of short documentary films dedicated to giving Black boys a unique voice. Beginning in 2010, filmmakers Nicole Franklin and Jasmin Tiggett started taking an annual look at Black boys as young as nine years old for a one-on-one conversation demystifying what society tends to rob them of: LOVE.
"First Impressions and the African American Male: A Guide to Experiencing the Truth about Little Brother" is a curriculum guide preparing groups and classes for viewing LITTLE BROTHER chapters. The text also contains a list of Discussion Questions from educator Nancy Montgomery and an Activity Guide compiled by the Little Brother team.
