Renata Gangemi
Renata Gangemi is a video maker and a professor who has directed several documentaries mainly on issues affecting immigrants, women and workers. Ms. Gangemi has also worked on many documentary productions as director of photography and editor. She has a master on Media Arts from City College of New York and is currently an Assistant Professor of Digital Post-production at Ramapo College of New Jersey. She has produced countless documentaries with teenagers and community organizers and has also been working as a professioal on non-lineareditor. Her work has been shown in local television and festivals in USA, Latin America, Europe, Asia. Tamales in January has been shown in BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music), MOMA (Museum of Modern Arts) in New York City and at ZEBRA Poetry Film Award in Berlin Germany.
